Default Mirrored Stance in Today's Meta

Basically, do you think would it be worth it putting [skill]mirrored stance[/skill] on a midline caster for gvg? Upsides being in near constant Mantra of Recovery with the downside of not being able to use the skill. Your thoughts on whether it is worth using (or not using) and why it should be used (or not used)?

Do you really think that the other team wouldn't remove mirrored stance? Unless you're running a hex build, then meh, you probably won't face enough teams for it to be worth anything more than a glorified cover hex.

I can already imagine all the players without brains using this on frenzy warriors if this ever becomes popular.

Please make this the metagame.

lol< i thought the exact same.

not really worth it imo. nobody is gonna MoR through it and it's the only stance you'd want -- and it would just be so easily removed.

but really..bringing it just for MoR..what happens if there's no MoR? one useless skill yay. :\

mirrored stance is funny ^^

happened to me once in RA, the assassin using it probably assumed i was another brainless glad's defense tank.

i just shocked him, used frenzy, and he blew up

They need to stop being stupid about it and change it from a hex to a 'skill'.

Something like:

5/.25/30

Target foe loses his current stance and this stance is disabled for 1..13..16s. You enter this stance.

Would be powerful against MoR but would actually be usable. If it's too good against MoR in general on casters, you could always make it 'this skill must follow a lead attack'. This way you couldn't just throw it on an Ele hoping to face a MoR Mesmer and it couldn't be used to remove stance on like a SP sin. It'd also help against stuff like Soldier's Stance Monks by stripping it fast.

Or keep it a hex but make it something like:

5/.25/15

Target foe is hexed with Mirrored Stance for 5..17..21s and cannot enter a new stance. You enter his stance.

Which would be nice to spike Frenzy warriors as they'd need to remove the hex before cancelling Frenzy (but note that you'd enter Frenzy too, which is double-edged. But you could always carry something like Dash to cancel it while they couldn't)

There's likely other ways to do it, but as long as all it does is mirror the other guy's stance IF they use it, it's worthless. It needs a disable part to it so that it actually becomes a counter to something and not a skill to throw in your bar in RA to laugh... and even then not laugh all that much unless your fun is blowing up in Frenzy, in which case i'd suggest simply putting Frenzy on your bar in the first place.
